I am sure there are many wishes to have 2020 behind us; however, the challenges of 2020 will not miraculously disappear once the ball drops in Time Square and we come to year 2021. Despite what is going on in the world, we must continue to move forward and focus on the positive. I have continued to coach, mentor and inspire others with hopes of enhancing their personal development. I have touched many through life coaching at New Wine Consulting and through my monthly blog posts. I want to thank each of you who have read my blog, posted comments, or personally mentioned to me how much the posts have inspired you. It is because of your constant encouragement that gives me the resolve to continue doing what God has called me to do.

This year, I tried something new; I took a leap of faith and published my first book, Sandpaper & Pearls. My prayer is that it will encourage, inspire, and heal many through my personal testimony. I was terrified to step out on this new venture and often questioned how people would respond; however, this has been one of the most gratifying undertakings of my life. So, what is God calling you to do? As 2021 quickly approaches, I challenge you to step out on faith and try something new. What is that small voice nudging you to do and you continue to push it to the back of your mind? Your something new could be writing a book, starting a new business, going back to school, or getting a new job. Maybe you would like to read more, pray or meditate more, or forgive and release a past hurt. Whatever the task may be, I encourage you as the Nike slogan says, “JUST DO IT.”
